Thanks to the generosity of over 270 donors, Jusoor's Ramadan campaign surpassed its goal. The funds will support orphaned high school students in Aleppo, Syria, marking Jusoor's first High School Scholarship intervention inside Syria.
In Syria today, thousands of orphaned students are reaching the most fragile stage of their education. High school is the moment where dreams either continue or quietly end. Financial hardship intensifies. Support systems disappear. Scholarships focus on universities. Emergency aid focuses on survival. No child should have to choose between school and survival.
What the Scholarship Covers
Each scholar receives tuition coverage, academic support, transportation, English language training, university preparation, and ongoing psychosocial support. The goal is not only to keep students in school, but to protect their pathway to higher education and long-term stability.
This builds on Jusoor's High School Scholarship Program in Lebanon, which has to date supported more than 900 students through Grades 10 to 12.
