Every child deserves to wake up thinking about exams, friends, and the future. Not about whether they should leave school to help their family survive.
In Syria today, thousands of orphaned students are reaching the most fragile stage of their education, high school, and it is the moment where dreams either continue or quietly end. Financial hardship intensifies. Support systems disappear. Scholarships focus on universities. Emergency aid focuses on survival. No child should have to choose between school and survival.
This Ramadan, Jusoor is stepping in at that decisive moment.
We are launching a High School Scholarship Program in Syria, starting in Aleppo, to ensure orphaned students can complete high school with dignity and comprehensive support. Each scholar will receive tuition coverage, academic support, transportation, English language training, university preparation, and ongoing psychosocial support. We are protecting their pathway to higher education and long-term stability.
The cost to support one orphaned student for a full year is $2,000 for all of the above. Our goal this Ramadan is to support 25 students and raise $50,000.
This campaign is zakat-verified, allowing you to fulfill your zakat obligation by supporting the education of orphaned students. Donations are also eligible for tax receipts, making your generosity both spiritually meaningful and financially recognized.
This Ramadan, help protect a future.
