This month, we are particularly proud to have launched our first interventions inside Syria. We have also hosted volunteers from the Chalhoub Group in Lebanon, participated in a module with the Asfari Foundation, and had one of our board members recognized for his achievements.

A Teacher's Training & A Summer School In Syria

The summer kicked off with our first interventions inside Syria, where we launched a series of intensive three-day teacher trainings in Zabadany, Maadameyet el Sham, and Haran el Awameed, reaching 90 primary school teachers across these regions. Those teachers, under our supervision, are running our six-week summer program in the same locations, reaching 900 students, giving the students an unforgettable summer of intensive fun and learning, but also giving the teachers an opportunity for hands-on experience to apply their new skills.

Volunteers from Chalhoub Group Bring their Energy to Jeb Jennine Center

We were thrilled to host volunteers from the Chalhoub Group in Dubai at our Chalhoub Jeb Jennine Center in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, for a week-long visit this month. The ten enthusiastic volunteers brought incredible energy to our classrooms under the leadership of Nihad Abdul Nazir. Their collaborative spirit shone as they worked alongside our teachers, at times taking the initiative to design and lead activities independently. In their final two days, the volunteers transformed the center's front entrance by creating a vibrant mural, a lasting testament to the Chalhoub group. They engaged every student in the project, inviting each child to leave their unique mark through colorful fingerprint signatures.
