Jusoor’s six-week Summer School kicked off on July 17th, 2025, to offer Arabic, English, and Maths classes as well as activities for psycho-social well-being through art in three locations in Syria and will continue till the end of August.
Reaching almost 900 students in Zabadany, Maadameyet el Sham, and Haran el Awameed, the summer school program is run by the teachers who have completed our teachers' training in the same locations over the last weeks, giving them hands-on experience to apply their newly acquired skills.
The curriculum and topics were developed according to our research conducted earlier this year to determine what our focus should be for the summer school and subsequent interventions throughout the year in Syria.
