Rowan El Shimi

Rowan is a journalist and storyteller based in Cairo, Egypt working with a variety of mediums such as text, photography and video. Her experience in journalism is mostly in the culture field where she has covered extensively the culture scene in Egypt and the Arab region especially in relation to the socio-political changes that have unfolded in the past decade. Rowan also has extensive experience working with NGOs, social enterprises and international organisations as a consultant and staff member to capture the success stories of their stakeholders through various mediums.
