Doreen Khouri

Doreen Khoury has over 15 years of experience in business development strategy, fundraising, programme development across the Middle East and Europe. She has worked with NGOs, media platforms, social enterprises, and entrepreneurs to design funding strategies, develop donor partnerships, strengthen organisational capacity, and communicate impact more effectively. She previously held senior programme and business development roles with Hivos, managing regional portfolios on gender equality, human rights, civic participation, and civil society support across Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Tunisia, and Iraq. Doreen holds an MA in Political Science from the Lebanese American University and a BA in Political Science from the American University of Beirut.
