Rama Harba

A Communications enthusiast, Arabic & English translator, and research assistant from Syria living in Lebanon as a refugee. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Business from Southern New Hampshire University, where I received a fully funded scholarship. My academic work at SNHU includes research in marketing, organisational development, and project management. Professionally, I have worked with consultancies, social enterprises, INGOs, and individual professionals, all serving humanitarian development in the global south. I volunteer to help marginalised students receive English education and get introduced to academic and professional opportunities to help them uplift their lives. Passionate about broadening my career and studying abroad, I am also dedicated to advocating for refugee education. My plans for the future include starting my initiative to help conflict-affected individuals find the right education and career for themselves. I plan to participate in peacebuilding efforts on a larger scale to achieve a bigger impact.
