Abstract
The English as a Second Language Interventions study explores the landscape of ESL programs targeting refugee youth across the MENA region. Using a mixed-methods approach, including interviews and roundtable discussions, the report identifies key educational gaps, best practices, and critical recommendations for improving language interventions. It stresses the importance of practical fluency, context-sensitive teaching, digital literacy, and inclusive classroom environments to equip refugee youth with future-ready skills essential for academic, professional, and social mobility.
