This month, Jusoor was awarded the Mother Teresa Memorial Award for Social Justice. We also marked the tenth anniversary of our Entrepreneurship Program in an event that also wrapped up our Disruptors Project. We have continued providing online education in Lebanon as we monitored the situation closely.

Continuing Online Education for our Young Learners in Lebanon
We continued to closely monitor the situation in Lebanon this month. As our centers continued to be closed, we managed to successfully provide online education to over 1,000 of our refugee education centers’ children, ensuring their education was intact during the crisis, thanks to the generous support we got through our Himam campaign. We have now closed the campaign, as the Ministry of Education in Lebanon has slowly started reopening schools, and now with the ceasefire deal, we expect schools and our centers to be open by next semester. We have also redesigned our Future Skills Project, generously supported by Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, to take place entirely online through various mediums. With sessions on coding, robotics, critical thinking, and English, our 75 adolescent students are gaining the 21st-century skills they will need for their future, despite the circumstances.
We want to sincerely thank all of our community, donors, and students for all their support through this difficult year for our region as we continue to empower children, youth, and young adults in the region.
