About the Role

The Refugee Education Program (REP) Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of the REP, including program support, volunteer recruitment and supervision, data analysis and reporting, field support, procurement, budgeting, and administrative tasks. The position involves close collaboration with the Head of REP, MEAL department, and other teams, as well as representing Jusoor at external meetings and events related to the REP.

1. Key Responsibilities | REP 

  1. Meetings and Representation
    1. Attending meetings & representing Jusoor with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) or any other meeting regarding REP (virtually or in person) when needed. 
    2. Reporting to the head of the REP, taking notes of all meetings requested to attend whether in person or virtually
    3. Writing MoM and putting them on the drive
  1. Program Support
    1. Running and coordinating the Summer Volunteer Program (including vetting and recruiting volunteers, report writing, and any relevant communications related to the program)
    2. Assist REP focal point in conducting the orientation & training sessions
    3. Helping in organizing the drive and updating it
    4. Helping administrations of all REP centers and schools run by Jusoor in any request pertaining to IT
    5. Follow up and coordinate  inventories of the REP in all centers
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting
    1. Supporting the MEAL Department in analyzing the data from the grades of students or any data needed for the REP
    2. Assisting MEAL department in data collection for KPIs
    3. Writing an evaluation report on the Summer Volunteer Program
  1. Procurement
    1. Requesting quotations for REP purchases
    2. Following up on all purchasing needs for the REP
    3. Following up on contracts for stakeholders pertaining to REP program
  1. Budgeting and Finance
    1. Updating and working with the Head of REP in maintaining the REP budget and expenditures

Eligibility

  • Access to a computer or laptop with high-speed internet
  • Strong computer skills and experience navigating various cloud-based collaboration platforms, including MS Office, Google Drive, Slack, Zoom 
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other remotely-based team members while also being self-motivated and able to work independently. 
  • Demonstrated respect for diverse identities, including strong multicultural awareness and gender-sensitive behavior as a member of a global team.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English and strong communication skills
  • Possession of a valid Lebanese driving license
