Richard Bampfylde

Richard leads the fundraising team towards ambitious targets, generating essential support from public and private donors and partners worldwide. He is a committed fundraiser and facilitator for Agenda 2030 with 15 years’ leadership and management expertise in the Levant & Gulf. Previously Director of Development and Communications at an educational institution in Lebanon (a UK charitable trust), he led the international fundraising response to the August 2020 Beirut Port explosion to keep children in school. He holds a Masters in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, with expertise delivering SDG projects with the UN, GIZ and INGOs as well as academia. He has recently returned to the UK to live and work just outside of London.
